New Addition...

It's Boston... Not the Place--but the DOG! After 3 visits and holding this little puppy numerous times; I knew we just had to have him. We always wanted to name our son Boston; but we shared the idea with others and they didn't seem to like it... So- that is why we decided to name our new puppy "Boston"

Here are some pictures of him....

It's A Wonderful Life...

It has been sometime since we have posted. It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here. I was walking out to my car today and the snow was coming down with some blustery wind. Yesterday Kevin and I went and got our very first Christmas Tree as a married couple. It was so fun; we took a wagon out to the Fraiser Fur section, picked out the perfect Bustrum tree, cut it down, put it on the wagon, and brought it home :) Here are some pictures of the adventure of setting the tree up and decorating the house... Happy Times!

HALLOWEEN IN GRAND RAPIDS

Hey Everyone! It has been a while since we have posted here from GR, MI! Things have been going well. Our lives have started to slow down a bit. Football is done for the season and my fall ball is done too. We have enjoyed the fall season with friends and family. We have gone to the apple orchard, raked leaves, had a pumpkin carving party, and more. Another exciting adventure Kevin and I went on was to the shooting range; Kevin talked me into learning how to shoot. I even shoot a BULLSEYE! We also have some big news for everyone-- NO NO it isn't a baby. But we DID buy a new car! It is a 2003 VUE. Check out the pics :) Hope everyone is well!

Love You

October Already...

Hey Friends...

It has been quite a while since we have posted. Things are going very well for us. Kevin is enjoying his teaching and coaching at Northview; and having to be on a cart hasn't been all that bad. The football team has only won 1 game thus far but still have 3 games left in the season... Kevin is really enjoying being part of the staff at Northview; and has made some really good frinds so far :)

As far as teaching, coaching, and Masters Class is going for me... BUSY sums it up :) I am coaching my 5th grade boys basketball team from Hamilton as well as my Calvin girls. Taking 2 Masters Classes from WMU and teaching part time PE. Would I change anything? NO... I love life and I love my jobs!!!!

I have had 2 weeks of softball for Calvin and I couldn't be happier. I LOVE IT!!! If you want to see the article they posted on Calvin's website: click here http://www.calvin.edu/sports/softball/coach.htm

Not to be left out is an update on our litte girl Molly. She is doing just fine. She is still the "queen" of the house and loves to eat our leftovers; but we couldn't imagine coming home and not being greeted with lots of kisses. I am going to attach a couple of photos of the girl in some new "gear!" ENJOY

Familiarity...No More!

Summer is winding down, jet skiis and boating will be put aside and soon the smell of warm apple cider and doughnuts will be upon us. With the summe season leaving and the fall season soon approaching a lot of changes are about to occur. Not only will the seasons and weather be changing but also a lot of changes will be happening for Kevin and I.
Kevin was recently hired by Northview High School where he will be teaching Civics, History, Seminar and more. He will be named "the cart-man" because he doesn't have a classroom and will have to cart all of his items around. It will be fun decorating the cart :)
Kevin will also be coaching the JV football team (the team is 1-1 as of now.) You should see this man coach; it is a true pleasure!
I will continue teaching part-time at Hamilton Elementary and I will also be starting my Master's classes at Western Michigan University where I will be focusing my efforts on "sports studies." I have also recently been hired as the Calvin College's Women's Softball Coach. I had to say goodbye to the high school where I have been coaching the last 3 years and have now said hello to the college lifestyle; yet again :)
I have forgotten what the life of a college student feels like; living on campus and staying up late... I will quickly be reminded how that feels on Thursday evening. We have a Staff meeting at Calvin from 6:30-8:30pm, then an all sports meeting from 8:30-10:00pm, and then I have a softball meeting following that... Oh baby!
So SEASONS OF CHANGE are upon us!

J...M...C...G...P... FRESHOURS

What started a week ago has already come to a quick end. Having the Freshour's here in Grand Rapids was SO much fun :) We love to spend time with them and I especially loved hanging out with the 3 youngest members of the family... Carter, Griffin, and Peyton :) We played in the pool, went for ice cream, made smores, had a fire.. actually 2 fires, played with Molly, learned the eletric slide, read many books, played trucks, played with the "sager" as Griffin liked to call the MASSAGER, and much more... Here are some pictures to show truly how great of time we had...
